In spite of its Malaysian origins "Blood Brothers: Bara Naga" offers up the kind of action fare you can find anywhere. That's not to say this is a bad film. The action/exposition formula at the core of this film is done extremely well. Its creative, plentiful, well paced and reasonably polished. Where Blood Brothers falls a little short, is in the storytelling department. The out of control, mad bull behaviour, of main character is at odds with the wise, considered leader, presented early on in the film. Its all written down to grief but it still feels a little over cooked and awkward...
