A sublime trip to a fine new world

Overview

On the planet Ygam, the Draags, extremely technologically and spiritually advanced blue humanoids, consider the tiny Oms, human beings descendants of Terra's inhabitants, as ignorant animals. Those who live in slavery are treated as simple pets and used to entertain Draag children; those who live hidden in the hostile wilderness of the planet are periodically hunted and ruthlessly slaughtered as if they were vermin.

Clearly an acid driven film of the early 70s, yet somehow even better than Yellow Submarine, for example. Is it the origin of the human race? An allegory of our coming destruction brought about by our failure to appreciate our environment? A Buddhist parable? A vegan morality? Take your pick. No matter how you interpret it, the story telling is magnificent. Don't forget to dose first :-)...
