Not sure how I feel about this one. The core premise of this series is the tale of a judge who is, in fact, a reincarnated demon who has to judge (in her own hellishly violent way and condemn to hell) murderous wrongdoers. That said, where's the substance to this series, beyond this very basic premise? I'm not seeing it. I suspect too, the jarring transition from humour to actually pretty nasty violence, is there to compensate for this series lack of true substance.
